Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode II is now available on the Playstation Network. Xbox Live gamers will have to wait until tomorrow to get their hands on the game with the game releasing shortly after for mobile users.
Building upon community feedback, this next episode is supposed to feature an improved physics engine. Hopefully Sonic will play more like the classic SEGA games. The gameplay graphics look great, but we’ll just have to wait and see how it plays once we get our hands on it.
Sonic has recently seen some success with releases like Sonic Generations, a much needed improvement after games like Sonic the Hedgehog (a.k.a. Sonic 2006) and Sonic Unleashed. Hopefully developers really did take fan comments into consideration as these most recent games could be what Sonic needs to once again become a great video game franchise.
