Telltale Games has announced today that it will be offering The Walking Dead Episode 1: A New Day for free on iOS devices. It won’t be for long though as it is just a limited time offer.
The Walking Dead is being offered free as part of Telltale Games’ holiday sale. Telltale Games is also temporarily discounting several of its other games to $0.99/episode, including:
- Back to the Future HD
- HECTOR HD
- Jurassic Park: The Game HD
- Law & Order: Legacies
- Sam & Max Beyond Time and Space
The game series, known on the App Store as, ‘Walking Dead: The Game’was recently awarded the honors of Game of the Year from multiple media outlets and organizations, including Game of the Year from the Spike TV Video Game Awards, Wired, Yahoo! Games, Complex, Digital Trends, GamesRadar, Cheat Code Central, and Destructoid.
Right now the base app can be downloaded for free and will include Episode 1. The rest of the episodes can be purchased for $4.99 each or at a discounted price of $14.99 for a bundle.
